Marc Márquez is the youngest MotoGP champion in history, aged 20 years and 266 days when he won the title in his first season in 2013.

He also won the Moto2 title the year before after being runner-up in 2011 to Stefan Bradl as he was injured in Sepang.

In 2014, having accumalated a clean sweep of the first ten races before he was beaten by Dani Pedrosa in America, Márquez became the youngest double MotoGP champion.
